In the 18th century, George Washington enjoyed celebrating the Christmas holidays with his family at Mount Vernon. While such occasions may not have been as elaborate as today's with our plentiful gifts and modern decorations, the tradition of spending time with friends and family has remained the same.
This large snow globe is 6 ½" tall overall including its metallic base, which is approximately in 4 ½ diameter. The globe is filled with filled with iridescent, glittering snow, and a colorful scene of the Mount Vernon Mansion.
When wound, the inner snow scene spins slowly to a classic music box version of "Joy to the World".
